Membership Requirements

In order to be considered an active member of the premed society, you must fulfill the following:

-If this is your first year in the society, you must come to 5 meetings and 2 events.

-In subsequent years you must come to 3 meetings and 2 events.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Welcome all pre-existing and new members for a, hopefully, great upcoming semester! We have a lot of great events and meetings coming up which will be announced soon.

The first events meeting is TOMORROW in the Biological Sciences building room 120 so come out and pitch us some ideas for what you guys want to do this semester.

The first general body meeting will be this WEDNESDAY in Meyerhoff Chemistry Building room 030. More information regarding that meeting will be given via email on Tuesday.

Also, if you haven’t already, join the Pre-Medical Society team for relay for life. Just go to http://www.relayforlife.org/ and search our team, Pre Med Society. Also, do not forget to make donations! Our goal is $10,000, it seems like a lot but we can do this.

At the meeting this Wednesday we will be having a guest doctor speaking about his career. We will also have a student from Johns Hopkins speaking about mentoring opportunities.

The premed bakesale has been moved to Thursday or Friday December 6th and 7th. Stay tuned!

Also, if you are still interested in volunteering with Omar Bukhari for his Drug Takeback, which is happening tomorrow 11am-1pm in Lower Flat Tuesdays, please email him to sign up, or come out and participate.
